Ian Parkinson joined DUS from Melbourne Australia. In Melbourne Ian worked for Sodexo Australia where he held the position of State Manager VIC/SA since November, 2006. He was responsible for the operational, financial and human resource management for more than 45 sites across corporate, education, FM and seniors segments. Ian began his career in the UK specializing in food and beverage management, and has nine years’ experience in international 4/5 Star hotels.
In Australia, Ian held senior positions within a national contract management company specializing in facility management, as a senior manager with a major national retail chain and a project manager for thirteen Olympic venues during the 2000 games. Ian holds postgraduate business qualifications including a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and lectures in business and hospitality management.
